The Red Cross is seeking Green Cross Members to lend a hand in the after math of Hurricane Sandy. Particularly to help our at the shelters. If any Green Cross member has community-mental health services experience such as: clinical social workers, psychologists, professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, psychiatric nurses, and psychologists with independent licenses, you are more than needed to help assist the Red Cross.
If you have a minimum of two weeks to volunteer for this effort, have an active license in one of the above specialties, and are in excellent physical health, the people impacted by Hurricane Sandy need your help. The Northern Minnesota Region of the Red Cross is looking for volunteers who could attend training on Friday, November 9th and travel to the East Coast as early as November 10th. There may also be opportunities to deploy later in November or early December.
If you are interested or would like additional information, including specific eligibility requirements, please contact Red Cross Staff Services at firstname.lastname@example.org or 612-460-3660.
